I am happy to present gorgeous baby Elowyn all finished. She is an awake, newborn size partial silicone baby with full silicone limbs, head and a cloth body that has been custom stuffed and weighted. Elowyn is approximately 20 inches with bent legs and weighs 8.7 pounds.
Elowyn is very detailed with an open mouth and tongue inside sculpted by Dawn Donofrio and poured in silicone by Maria Lynn Dolls. She is exclusively finished (painted and hair rooted) by me, Amy Kate Irwin. I have painted baby Elowyn in Caucasian skin tones with shadowing, blushing and subtle veining and her paint has been sealed and matted for a beautiful, smooth finish. I have painted little delicate eyebrows that have also been sealed and matted. I have hand applied beautiful little naturally curled eyelashes. I have hand rooted her hair in a soft, luscious chocolate brown color that highlights her beautiful dark blue eyes. Elowyn's lips and nail beds on all 10 fingers and toes have been glossed.

- Baby Elowyn is an awake, newborn size partial silicone baby with full silicone limbs, head and a cloth body that has been custom stuffed and weighted. I took many photos to capture different poses to show her poseability, and photos were taken in different light settings, but mostly by a large window with natural sunlight and clouds moving in and out.
- Full silicone limbs and silicone head attached to a cloth body that has been custom stuffed and weighted.
- Length: Approximately 20 inches with bent legs.
- Weight: 8.7 pounds.
- Head circumference: 16 inches.
- Mouth is open with a sculpted tongue inside.
- Takes a small pacifier and bottle nipple.
- Elowyn wears size 1 diapers and fits right around larger newborn size baby clothes and some 0 to 3 months.
- Elowyn's hair has been deeply and meticulously directionally rooted 1-2 hairs at a time using luscious chocolate brown, silky soft, ultra premium, alpaca hair. This hair rooting process takes a very long time - many, many hours.
- I have painted and sealed delicate eyebrows and hand applied her delicate little naturally curled eyelashes.
- Baby white fingernail and toenail tips have been delicately painted, glossed, and sealed on all 10 fingers and all 10 toes.
- While her hair is deeply micro-rooted, gentle care of her hair is also recommended. You can very carefully brush and style her hair with a spritz of water and a soft bristled baby brush or toothbrush.
- My babies come from an entirely smoke-free environment.
***It is not uncommon for silicone babies to have a slight mark or imperfection here and there, which is not considered a flaw, but part of the handmade process and charm and simply the nature and characteristics of silicone. Please do note these dolls are art dolls completely handmade and can have small irregularities like any handmade doll. Every hand that touches the doll from the sculpting, molding, casting, painting, rooting processes strives to produce a perfect doll, but typically this is not possible due to the sensitivity of all materials used and by human hand processes. Dolls that are machine or factory made of plastic or vinyl could possibly be perfect, but not handmade, soft, more life-like silicone art dolls. If there is some kind of a large, glaring imperfection on a doll, then the doll is labelled as a "boo-boo" doll and sold as such with a discount. This is not a boo-boo doll. Each silicone baby is a one-of-a-kind. There are no two dolls exactly alike.
***You do always need to support her head, neck and back when picking her up and holding her like you would a real newborn baby. Never pick up the baby by the arms or legs as this can put undue stress on the arms and legs and ultimately tear and separate from the body. I include detailed "Care Instructions" for all my babies.
***Please know that I put my heart and soul into each baby I complete. My hope is always you will love and cherish your doll. Silicone art dolls are recommended for the adult doll collector only and are not recommended to be handled or played with by children because they are delicate, completely handmade art dolls.
